Each year, the West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (WKRECC) offers up to eight WKRECC Scholarships for high school students who will be attending higher education in the following year. Each of the successful applicants will receive up to $1,000. To apply, entries must be received by 6 March on annual basis.
Scholarship Description
West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (WKRECC) awards eight $1,000 scholarships to member students who will pursue higher education. Two high school juniors in the West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative service area are chosen each year to participate in the Rural Electric Youth Tour Program.
Award Value
Each of the winners of the WKRECC Annual Scholarship will receive $1,000.

High school level in any subject.
Place of Study
In the United States of America.
Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible, please ensure to meet the requirements as follow:
- Must be a high school senior in good standing
- Your parent or guardian must be a member of and receive electric service from west Kentucky RECC at their principle residence
Applicants’ Nationality
U.S citizens may apply this scholarship.
