The applications for Undergraduate Public Service Scholarship of B.A. Rudolph Foundation are now open. The scholarships offer up to $1,600/month for the successful applicants. To be eligible, the candidates should be a female college students who are planning to undertake internship in Washington. To apply, the completed application form must be submitted no later than 11 April 2019.
Scholarship Description
The intention of the Undergraduate Public Service Scholarship is to cover the cost of living and some travel expenses for those who otherwise would not be able to afford such an opportunity. Each scholar is assigned a mentor in her field, to lend guidance on entering and navigating her profession and Washington. Her mentor is encouraged to introduce her to contacts or colleagues to assist in networking.

Each of the selected applicants may expect to receive up to $1,600/month

Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible, the candidates are expected to meet the criteria below:
- Female
- Either entering Junior or Senior year of college following internship OR a recent graduate
- Applied or accepted to an internship located in the greater Washington metropolitan area.
- Internship must be centered on government, public service, non-profit endeavors, and/or women’s rights.
- Commencing internship on or after May 1st and completing internship no later than September 30th of the same year.
