Generation Google Scholarships For All RegionsEach year, the Generation Google Scholarships are available for students from various regional blocks to apply and enhance their digital skills and also help in their studies. To be eligible, candidates must be enrolled or will be enrolled at an undergraduate program in computer science or related areas. Winners receive $5,000 to $10,000 depending on which of the scholarships they applied for, or region they are studying.

Scholarship Description

At Google, they believe information should be universally accessible. Hence they are offering Generation Google Scholarships to inspire and help students become future leaders in computing and technology by breaking down the barriers that prevent them from entering these fields. The scholarship is open to undergraduate , graduate and high school students.

Award Value

Selected students will receive amounts varying up to 10,000 USD (for those studying in the US) or 5,000 CAD (for those studying in Canada).

The Generation Google Scholarships For All Regions are variously taken in Universities in the United States or Canada.

Eligibility and Criteria

University Students applying for the Generation Google Scholarships have to:

  • Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at a university.
  • Intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student at a university in the United States or Canada.
  • Maintain a strong academic performance
  • Be pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering or a degree in a closely related technical field
  • Exemplify leadership and demonstrate passion for improving representation of underrepresented groups in computer science and technology

Applicants’ Nationality

Applicants from any nationality are eligible to apply. Students that identify with groups historically excluded from the technology industry, including Women, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, are strongly encouraged to apply.
