The the law firm of Albertson & Davidson, LLP is gald to announce the the Albertson & Davidson, LLP Scholarship program. The scholarship is an Infographic Scholarship Contest. To be eligible, students must be attending college or university during the fall semester.

Scholarship Description
At the law firm of Albertson & Davidson, LLP we understand that obtaining an education is the pathway to success for many young Americans. As attorneys, we all have earned both undergraduate degrees as well as successfully completed a rigorous three-year Juris Doctorate before being even eligible to sit for the California Bar Exam. Through these experiences, we have come to understand the often significant financial burdens associated with obtaining an education beyond high school, which is why we are pleased to announce that we will be offering scholarship awards to the winners of our newly created infographic scholarship contest. By creating these awards, we hope to help the next generation of students realize their educational and professional goals.

Award Value
– 1st Prize- $1,500
– 2nd Prize- $1,000
– 3rd Prize- $500

In the United States of America.

Eligibility and Criteria
The Albertson & Davidson, LLP College Scholarship is open to individuals who are currently attending or are planning on attending an accredited United States college or university during the fall 2018 semester.

Applicants’ Nationality
The United States citizens are invited to apply.

Application Instruction
Using data from government, private agencies or non-profits, create an infographic that addresses the infographic topic below:

  • Warning Signs of Dementia: The population of older adults in California and throughout the U.S. is expanding, bringing an increase in the number of people affected by dementia. While most seniors 65 and older do not have cognitive impairment or dementia, about one in 10 have dementia, according to a new study by the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Rand Corp. Understanding the warning signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s can help families recognize when their elderly parents need help with managing their financial affairs.
  • Warning Signs of Nursing Home Abuse: People who depend on nursing home caregivers for assistance with basic needs such as feeding and toileting are vulnerable to abuse, neglect, and exploitation. It is important for families that have relatives in nursing homes to recognize warning signs of nursing home abuse so that they can protect their loved ones.
