At the law firm of Albertson & Davidson, LLP we understand that obtaining an education is the pathway to success for many young Americans. As attorneys, we all have earned both undergraduate degrees as well as successfully completed a rigorous three-year Juris Doctorate before being even eligible to sit for the California Bar Exam. Through these experiences, we have come to understand the often significant financial burdens associated with obtaining an education beyond high school, which is why we are pleased to announce that we will be offering scholarship awards to the winners of our newly created infographic scholarship contest. - Warning Signs of Dementia: The population of older adults in California and throughout the U.S. is expanding, bringing an increase in the number of people affected by dementia. While most seniors 65 and older do not have cognitive impairment or dementia, about one in 10 have dementia, according to a new study by the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Rand Corp. Understanding the warning signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s can help families recognize when their elderly parents need help with managing their financial affairs.
