Kyushu University KDDI Foundation ScholarshipThe Fully Funded Kyushu University KDDI Foundation Scholarship application window is now open for high-performing international postgraduate students who wish to enroll for master’s and doctoral degree programs. Each beneficiary stands to receive a sum of 100,000 Yen per month. Interested excellent postgraduate students are encouraged to send in their applications before the deadline.

Scholarship Description

The Kyushu University in collaboration with the KDDI Foundation is committed to providing learning opportunities to students with high academic profile from across the globe. Kyushu University carries out a screening test before recommending a student to a foundation for scholarship.

The Kyushu University KDDI Foundation Scholarship must be received at the applicant’s Students Affairs Division. Please note that the application deadline for each Student’s Affairs Division differs. Applicants should be engaged in research whose theme is related to Information Technology in the fields of Law, Politics, Economics, Sociology, Culture, and Technology.

Award Value

The Scholarship is worth 100,000 Yen a month.

Level and Areas of Study

The program is for postgraduate (masters and doctoral) students whose research theme is related to Information Technology (IT).

Place of Study

The scholarship will be at Kyushu University in Japan.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions in order to be eligible for the Scholarship:

  • Be International masters and doctoral students.
  • Enroll in full-time program.
  • Hold significant first-degree certificate or equivalent.
  • Have proof of proficiency of English.
  • Have research theme related to IT in the field of Law, Politics, Economics, Sociology, Culture or Technology.
  • Pass Kyushu University screening test first, before being recommended.

Interested and eligible applicants for the Kyushu University KDDI Foundation Scholarship should apply online before application window closes.
