The Victoria University International Scholarships are offered to international students applying for Vocational Education and Training (VET), undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the university. The value of the scholarships vary according to the type of study and study level applied for. There is no application required.
Scholarship Description
The Victoria University International Scholarships to study in Australia recognizes and rewards the achievements of commencing international students. The Scholarships are based on academic merit and requires students to have achieved results that are higher than VU’s academic entrance requirements.
Award Value
- Vocational Education and Training (VET):Â A$750 per semester. The total value of the scholarship is up to A$3000 towards the total tuition fees for a two-year VET degree.
- Undergraduate: A$3000 for the first two study periods. The total value of the Scholarship is up to A$12,000 towards the total tuition fees for a four-year undergraduate degree.
- Postgraduate (coursework):Â A$3000 for the first two study periods. The total value of the scholarship is up to A$6000 towards tuition fees for a two-year postgraduate (coursework) degree.

Eligibility and Requirement
Below are the eligibility requirements for Victoria University International Scholarships to study in Australia:
- The VET applicants applying from China, Malaysia and Vietnam must be enrolled in a full-time load each semester and pass all units attempted to receive the scholarship in subsequent semesters.
- Undergraduate applicants applying from Cambodia, China, Mauritius, the Philippines and Vietnam must be enrolled in a full-time study load (48 credit points in each study period) and maintain a 60 Weighted Average Mark (WAM) across the two previous study periods.
- Applicants applying from Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mauritius, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam must be enrolled in a full-time study load (48 credit points in each study period) and maintain a 60 Weighted Average Mark (WAM) across the two previous study periods.

Application Procedure
- No application is required for the Victoria University International Scholarships to study in Australia.
- Students are automatically assessed after submitting their application for an eligible qualification. If successful, the scholarship will be reflected in your final Letter of Offer.
