Applications are now invited for the Karolinska Institutet Global Master’s Scholarships. Either domestic and overseas students are welcome to apply. To be eligible for those Karolinska Institutet Scholarships, candidates must have secured a place at KI’s Global Master’s Programmes. The Karolinska Institutet Scholarship covers tuition fee cost.
Scholarship Description
Karolinska Institutet Global Master’s Scholarships offers a number of tuition fee scholarships to excellent students who have been admitted to KI’s Global Master’s Programmes starting autumn semester. Note that if you are awarded a scholarship, it only covers the tuition fee/part of the tuition fee. Travel, living and other expenses must be met by other funding.
Award Value
These global Master’s Scholarships cover the tuition fee only.

Scholarships are offered for Master’s Programmes in various fields including Global Health; Bioentrepreneurship; Biomedicine; Public Health Sciences; Health Informatics; Molecular Techniques in Life Science and Toxicology.

Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible to apply for these Scholarships, students must satisfy the given criteria as follow:
- be excellent students who have been admitted to KI’s Global Master’s programmes starting autumn semester
- have been awarded a Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen) from an internationally recognised university.
- be able to demonstrate proficiency in English by means of an internationally recognised test, e. g. TOEFL, IELTS or the equivalent.
