Applications are welcome from Domestic and International students for the University of Adelaide Summer Research Scholarships, awarded yearly to interested undergraduate students. The University offers up to 240 summer scholarships yearly to undergraduate students to provide support and help them gain research experience during their study program. Successful awardees receive $1,500 as one-off payment for the program.

The Adelaide Summer Research Scholarships is created to encourage and prepare undergraduate students who may consider undertaking a six-weeks research project at the University within the academic year to advance their career. It involves team work meant to stimulate students interests in advancing research.

Eligibility and Criteria
Eligible candidates for the Adelaide Summer Research Scholarships must be:
- Australian citizens; Permanent residents of Australia, New Zealand Citizens, holders of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa, or an international students who hold current appropriate visas permitting study in Australia beyond February 2025.
- Be studying an undergraduate level program.
- Have at least one year of the program.
- Be enrolled in 2024; and not have completed a Bachelors degree
- Be available to undertake the summer research project on campus

Application Procedure
Students can only submit ONEÂ application online for the Adelaide Summer Research Scholarships, and before applying must:
- Contact a potential supervisor to ensure an appropriate research project is available.
- Complete a Research Project and Supervisor Form.
- Obtain a Supervisor’s signature on the Research Project and Supervisor Form.
- Application Deadline: 20th September, 2024.
