RIFS Fellows Programme in GermanyThe RIFS Fellows Programme, formally the IASS Fellowship Programme is open to Individual Researchers at all career stages and sectors, and experts with a strong interest in sustainability and societal transformation, and may be combined with sabbaticals. Applications for this fellowship are accepted until July each year.

Scholarship Description

The IASS Fellowship Programme, now the RIFS Fellows Programme each year brings about 30 individuals from around the world to participate in the institute’s Fellows Programme. During their stay, Fellows work with each other and with other RIFS researchers, providing expertise, inspiration, and creative input. In return, the Fellowship offers Fellows the opportunity to develop their ideas in an international community of eminent researchers, not only within the institute, but also in the wider Potsdam-Berlin area. The programme envisages active collaboration with RIFS researchers and aim to achieve joint outputs with one or more of the institute’s research groups.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for the RIFS Fellows Programme: Although all proposed projects should relate to at least one of the Research Areas, they do not need to be tailored towards a specific research group. Indeed, the RIFS works in a number of dynamic fields and its research landscape is constantly evolving.
