The J. Gonda Foundation to invites applications for the Gonda Postdoctoral Fellowship. This program is exclusively open to the Netherlands students who will receive grants to undertake PhD Research programme at the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences. To apply, entries must be received no later than April 1 and October 1 of each year.
Program Description
Since 1992, the Foundation has funded projects, fellowships and scholarly publications and re-issues of existing works. One of such funding is the Gonda Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences in the Netherlands. It also organises and publishes the annual Gonda Lecture. The Foundation’s assets consist of the estate of Indologist Jan Gonda, who was a member of the Academy.
Award Value
The Gonda Postdoctoral Fellowship grant is usually between € 3000 and € 10,000. The grant cannot be used to cover salaries.

Application Instruction
