The Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) is glad to invite applications for the DAR American Indian Scholarship Program. All candidates must be college or university students an be able to proof his or her native American status. Applications are accepted by January 31, 2021.

Scholarship Description
This scholarship is awarded to help Native Americans students of any age, any tribe and in any state striving to get an education at the undergraduate or graduate levels. However, undergraduate students are given preference. All awards are judged based on financial need and academic achievement.

Award Value
This is a one-time $4,000 award.

Level and Area of Studied
Undergraduate or graduate level in all fields.

Place of Study
In the United States of America.

Eligibility and Criteria
Applicants must be Native Americans (proof of American Indian blood is required by letter or proof papers) in financial need and have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. There will be no exceptions.

Applicants’ Nationality
Only Native Americans may apply this scholarship.
