Crown Prince Frederik Fund ProgramThe Government of Denmark is glad to announce the Crown Prince Frederik Fund Program. This scholarship will be awarded to Danish students for master’s degree at Harvard Kennedy School in the United States. There are two types of scholarships available; Non-degree studies or two years of full master’s degree scholarship and Mid-Career Master in Public Administration scholarship.

Scholarship Description

The Crown Prince Frederik Fund is the result of the popular Crown Prince Frederik received by Danish-Americans in connection with the Crown Prince’s 25th birthday when he studied at Harvard Kennedy School – John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. The Foundation awards two scholarships annually for studies in the social science field at Harvard Kennedy School. The grants are administered by the Fulbright Commission.

Award Value

  • Non-degree studies or two years of full master’s degree scholarship: The grant covers payment of respectively. one or two year tuition fee at Harvard Kennedy School, equivalent to approx. USD 127,964 (incl. Health fees).
  • Mid-Career Master in Public Administration scholarship: The grant covers payment of one year’s tuition fee at Harvard Kennedy School, equivalent to approx. USD 72,800 (incl. Health fees)

The study will be taken at Harvard Kennedy School in the United States.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for the Crown Prince Frederik Fund Program:

  • Scholarship for one year of non-degree studies or two years of admission to a full master’s degree at Harvard Kennedy School: Applicant must have at least one bachelor’s degree or equivalent study program behind him before the start of the stay. The applicant may be a completed candidate, but must generally comply with the university’s requirements for admission.
  • Scholarship to the Harvard Kennedy School’s Mid-Career Master in Public Administration: Applicant must be a completed candidate in work with min. 7 years of work experience at the beginning of the stay.

Applicants Nationality

Only the Danish citizens are welcome to apply this Crown Prince Frederik Fund Program.
