Applications are still being invited from high calibre international students seeking to study in Australia in diverse areas for the award of ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarships.
The awards aim for a tuition fee reduction applied to three years of study for undergraduate recipients and up to two years of study for postgraduate recipients.
Scholarship Description
The ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarships offers an opportunity to access one of multiple scholarships available to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The scholarship is designed to attract a diverse range of high calibre international students to study at ANU.
These scholarships are distributed into 7 categories. Applicants will be automatically assessed in the following categories based on their citizenship.

Award Value
The scholarship will award to recipients a tuition fee reduction of:
- 25% or 50% to eligible students as outlined above.
- applied to three years of study for undergraduate recipients and up to two years of study for postgraduate recipients.
- deposit of AUD 10,000 instead of the standard deposit amount listed on your admissions offer letter.

Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is available to a prospective ANU applicant who:
- is defined as an overseas student under the terms of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 and does not hold a 995 visa (unless enrolling in an eligible postgraduate program); and
- has received an offer of admission to commence at the University in 2022 in an eligible program (excluded programs are listed above); and
- meets the conditions of the program for which they have received an offer of admission including the requirement to be onshore for some components (if applicable); and
- has not received the scholarship previously.
Application Procedure
- There is no need to apply for the scholarship as you will be automatically considered if you meet the eligibility criteria.
- Press the “Apply now” button to start the Admissions application process for 2022 at ANU.
- You will need to accept both your academic offer and your scholarship offer separately. More information to be provided with your scholarship offer letter.
