Each year, the Australian National University offers maximum of two awards of Alex Rodgers Travelling Scholarship to RSAA graduate students who wants to travel abroad with direct relevance to their thesis work. These awards are valued up to $6,000 per year. To apply, the completed application form must be submitted no later than 28 February on annual basis.
Scholarship Description
These scholarships are offered by the ANU College of Physical & Mathematical Sciences. The Alex Rodgers Travelling Scholarship is offered to one or two RSAA graduate students to travel abroad with direct relevance to their thesis work (It will not be awarded to fund an overseas observing run). The award is based on scientific merit of the program, benefit of the program to RSAA and the student, and the effective use of the funds from the scholarship.
Award Value
This scholarship provides maximum $6,000 each year.

Eligibility and Criteria
The eligibility for Alex Rodgers Travelling Scholarship is thus:
- Full-time current RSAA PhD student.
- A successful applicant is ineligible to apply again.
- Australian and New Zealand citizens; Permanent residents of Australia; International students.
