Swedish Defence University is offering a number of scholarships for international students who are applying for admission at the university. There are two types of scholarships now available: The UHR Scholarship and The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP). Those scholarships have their respective requirements as would be mentioned in the descriptions.
Scholarship Descriptions
There are two major Swedish Defence University Scholarships available:
The UHR Scholarship: This scholarship is administered by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR). Application and selection process amongst admitted students to the Swedish Defence University is handled by the university. The scholarship may only be used to pay all or part of the tuition fees and may not be used for accommodation or other suchlike costs.
The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP): The Swedish Institute, a government agency, receives funding each year to use for funding scholarships to international students who have the ambition to become a future leader within the sustainable development goals on a global platform.
Award Value
The UHR scholarships only cover tuition fees of the program, while the SISGP is fully funded.

Master’s degree in any available fields.

Eligibility and Requirement
Eligibility requirements for the Swedish Defence University Scholarships:
- The UHR Scholarship is targeted to well-qualified students from countries, other than EU/EEA countries and Switzerland (in accordance with Regulation 2010:543), who wish to study at Swedish universities or colleges. Please note that only applicants in the current application round can apply for the scholarship since the scholarship is aimed for newly admitted students.
- The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) is open to international students who have the ambition to become a future leader within the sustainable development on a global platform.
