The National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) Scholarship is now open. Students from developing countries are invited to apply. The scholarships will provide funds covering all of the relevant expenses.
Scholarship Description
Full scholarships are available for exceptionally qualified candidates who have been accepted for study with the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) Scholarship. These scholarships are provided by the Japanese government (MEXT) and international organizations, as well as by GRIPS. The specific scholarship will be determined by GRIPS based on the eligibility requirements imposed by the scholarship providers (see Scholarship Eligibility and Details chart). Please note that scholarships are allocated on a competitive basis and that only a limited number of scholarships are available.

The winner will receive benefit of fully – funded scholarship program.

Master and PhD program in Public Policy; Public Finance; Macroeconomic Policy; Economics, Planning and Public Policy; Disaster Management Policy; Maritime Safety and Security Policy; Japanese and Culture.

Eligibility and Requirements
Candidates applying for Masters Programs and 5-year Ph.D. Programs must possess a Bachelors degree or its equivalent. Candidates applying for 3-year Ph.D. Programs must possess a Masters degree or its equivalent.
