The Marietta Blau Gran is available for PhD students from Austrian universities. Students will be conducting dissertation research for six- to twelve-month study periods abroad. Applications are accepted bi-annualli. The deadline is February 1st and September 1st every year.
Scholarship Description
The Marietta Blau Grant offers financial support for six- to twelve-month study periods abroad for doctoral or PhD students of Austrian universities. It serves to optimise their dissertations. Junior researchers are the main target group.
Award Value
Up to EUR 1,500 of monthly grant will be awarded to the winners.
Level and Area of Studies
PhD degree in any field.
Place of Study
The study will be taken in any country outside Austria.
Eligibility and Criteria
This grant is open to PhD students from Austrian universities who intend do PhD research outside Austria.
Applicants’ Nationality
There is no nationality restriction, but candidates must Austrian students.
Submission Deadline
February 1st and September 1st every year.
