The scholarships are specially targeted for Asian Students pursuing master program at any areas of studies and studies that related to environmental fields at Asian Institute of Technology. These scholarships are sponsored by Royal Thai Government (RTG) that cover all of the related expenses.
Scholarship Description
These scholarships will give opportunity for any eligible students from Asian countries to study all areas of studies at AIT. There two types of s scholarship as follow:
- His Majesty the King’s Scholarships: A full scholarship granted to qualified candidates with excellent undergraduate achievements from any Asian country to pursue a master’s degree in all disciplines.
- Her Majesty the Queen’s Scholarships: A full scholarship granted to qualified candidates with excellent undergraduate achievements from any Asian country to pursue a master program.
Scholarship Value
Each scholarship award covers tuition and fees, accommodation, and a bursary for living expenses in AIT’s residential campus for the entire period of the 22-month master’s degree program.
Level and Area of Studies
Master degree in environment-related fields for those applying Queen’s scholarships and any subjects for those applying King’s Scholarship.
Place of Study
At the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand
Eligibility and Criteria
The followings are the basic requirement of these scholarships:
- Candidates must graduated in related fields from an accredited institution and have a good education record in a 4-year undergraduate program with CGPA above 3.5 or equivalent, and high proficiency in English (a TOEFL score of 550 or equivalent).
Applicants’ Nationality
Candidates must be the citizen of one of Asian countries.
Application Instruction
Nominations from Department Heads or the Faculty Advisors of prospective candidates are invited by filling the “Nomination Form” and fax it or send by email. The nominees are then requested to fill the application form the website or apply on-line there. If any required document is not yet available, please indicate and submit later.
