Scholarship Description
The Ernst & Ethel Eriksen Trust was established by Ethel Eriksen in the early 1980s. The trust provides study grants to students doing postgraduate study and has enabled scholars from all walks of life to fulfill their dreams, and in so doing benefit South Africa.
Graduate students can apply for the Ernst & Ethel Eriksen Study Grants to do a Master’s or Doctorate postgraduate degree at any approved South African university.
Award Value
The amount awarded will not exceed R20 000 for the proposed year of study.
Level and Area of Studies
Master and Doctoral programs in any discipline.
Place of Study
At South African universities.
Eligibility and Criteria
Graduate students can apply for a bursary to do a Master’s or Doctorate postgraduate degree at an approved South African university.
- The student must be a South African citizen.
- The study must be at a South African university.
- Students must have completed their honors in order to apply.
