Award Benefits

International students are eligible for merit and need-based scholarships. Merit-based scholarships can be as high as $36,000 per year for first-year students and up to $15,000 per year for transfer students.

Eligibility Criteria

Aids is awarded to students based on the following criteria:

  • They must be undertaking Undergraduate programs.
  • Candidates should be International Students.
  • They must be enrolled in full-time honors program.
  • Merit scholarships are based primarily on a student’s high school academic achievements and the overall strength of the application.
  • Merit-based scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Admission Committee.
  • Additional Scholarships are available through individual departments.
  • Chapman offers limited need-based aid of up to $15,000 per year for international applicants.
  • We also encourage international students to search for outside scholarships.
  • Students must meet the University’s English undergraduate requirements; and
  • Have all academic records sent directly from their schools (whenever possible).
  • Submit all academic records in the native language, accompanied by a certified English translation (if the native language is not English).

Once your transcripts are received, Chapman will internally evaluate them. Chapman does not require outside evaluations.

Application Procedure
