Applications for the Byron Bird Graduate Scholarship Program are now invited. This program is exclusively available for Graduate Accounting Students at All Kansas Colleges and Universities. Students will be selected based on their undergraduate academic performance, leadership, and participation in community and others.
Scholarship Description
The Byron Bird scholarship is named for and originally funded by Byron Bird, CPA, the first recipient of the American Institute of CPAs National Public Service Award.
Award Value
The winner of this Byron Bird Graduate Scholarship will receive $3,000.
Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate degree in accounting.
Place of Study
The study will be taken in the United States of America.
Eligibility and Criteria
The Byron Bird Graduate Scholarship is awarded to a current graduate accounting student or graduate school candidate on the basis of undergraduate academic performance, potential for success in graduate studies, leadership, and participation in community, charitable, university, governmental and/or other civic activities. All Kansas colleges and universities are encouraged to select one candidate for the scholarship. Submission of application is required.

The citizens of the United States are invited to apply.
Application Instruction
Along with the completed application form, please attach copies of your official transcript, resume, and three sealed letters of
recommendation, no more than one page in length, to this application. Two of the letters of recommendation should be from those supporting your public service activities.
