The Swedish Institute are now offering a full scholarship of Visby Master Scholarship for Master students who will study at any universities in Sweden. The eligible maters’ courses can be seen at the website link below. Please note, only eligible citizenship will be considered and there is no age limit to be selected. The successful candidates will receive a fully funded award.
The scholarships are intended for full-time master’s level studies in Sweden and cover both living costs and tuition fees. A list of eligible master programmes is available below. The programmes have been selected by the Swedish Institute on the basis of thematic relevance for the SI Baltic Sea Region Cooperation.
The scholarship is only awarded for programmes starting in the autumn semester (August/September) and is granted for one academic year, i.e. for two semesters at a time. It will be extended for programmes longer than two semesters provided that the student’s study results are satisfactory.
This award will cover all of the related expenses including tuition fees and living expenses to the amount of SEK 9,000 per month and travel grant of SEK 5,000.

Eligibility and Criteria
The scholarships are only intended for students who are required to pay tuition fees according to the information at University Admissions.
Please bear in mind that you are not qualified if you are:
- Has already lived in Sweden for two years or more previous to the scholarship period.
- Has a Swedish or EU/EES-citizenship, permanent residence permit or work in Sweden.
- Has previously been awarded a Swedish Institute scholarship.
- Already holds a degree from a Swedish university/university college.
- Is currently enrolled in a study programme at a Swedish university/university college.
Visby master scholarship only available for those coming from Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.
