The University of British Colombia in Canada is pleased to offer the Trek Excellence Scholarship Program for students who already registered in at least 24 percentage-graded credits in your previous winter session. Both domestic and international students are eligible for the scholarships.
Scholarship Description
Trek Excellence Scholarships are offered every year to students in the top 5% of their undergraduate year, faculty, and school. Rankings are based on students’ top 24 percentage-graded credits, as per Senate Award regulations. Students of Canada and other countries are eligible for the scholarship programme.
Award Value
Domestic students receive an award of $1,500 and international students receive an award of $4,000. Awards of $1,000 are also given to international students who are in the top 5% to 10%.

College or university level in any field.
Place of Study
The study will be taken at the University of British Colombia in Canada.
Eligibility and Criteria
In order to be eligible to the Trek Excellence Scholarship Program, you must:
- be registered in at least 24 percentage-graded credits in your previous winter session. Your average will be based on your best 24 percentage-graded credits. The following courses will not be counted toward your average: Audited courses, Wait-listed courses, Summer courses, Credit/D/Fail courses
- be continuing in the same faculty or school in your current winter session.
Applicants’ Nationality
There is no nationality restriction to apply the Trek Excellence Scholarship Program.
Application Instruction
No application is required.
Submission Deadline
Students are automatically considered based on their grades from the prior Winter session.
