The ThinkSwiss Scholarship is now open. This program is only open to students currently enrolled at an accredited Indian, Australian, Singaporean university/institute and will be pursue master or undrrgraduate program in Switzerland.
Scholarship Description
ThinkSwiss Research Scholarship program Asia-Pacific is funded by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and is supported by swissnex India, the Embassy of Switzerland in Singapore and Embassy of Switzerland in Australia. The aim of the program is to promote research opportunities in Switzerland for Indian, Australian and Singapore students and to foster the exchange between Swiss, Asia-Pacific universities and research institutions.
Award Value
The ThinkSwiss Research Scholarship provides a prorated amount according to the length of your stay: a monthly scholarship of CHF 1,600 (approx. USD 1,600) for a period of two to three months (CHF 4,800 maximum).

Master and undergraduate degree in any discipline.
Place of Study
The study will be taken in Switzerland.
Eligibility and Criteria
- Currently be enrolled at an accredited Indian, Australian, Singaporean university/institute.
- Be a Master’s student or an undergraduate student who will have completed his/her second year when the term of the research stay begins in Switzerland.
- Provide a written confirmation from a professor from a Swiss university that he/she will accept you for a research stay in his/her group.
