Simpson Strong-Tie Academic Scholarships

A number of Simpson Strong-Tie Academic Scholarships are now available for students enrolled architecture, structural engineering and construction management program at one of the 93 participating schools in the United States. Up to 100 awards will be given for 2019-2020 academic year.

Scholarship Description
Simpson Strong-Tie Company, Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist architecture, structural engineering and construction management students. The Student Scholarship Program offers scholarships to support education and encourage the design and building of safer structures in our communities. This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America which is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.

Award Value
The winner of the Simpson Strong-Tie Academic Scholarships will receive $2,000 each.

Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate degree in architecture, structural engineering and construction management studies.

Place of Study
The study will be taken at one of the 93 participating schools in the United States.

Eligibility and Criteria
To participate in this scholarship, the applicants must be enrolled as juniors (60 semester hours or equivalent) or seniors in full-time undergraduate study in Architecture, Structural Engineering or Construction Management at an eligible college or university.

Applicants’ Nationality
The citizens of the United States are eligible for the Simpson Strong-Tie Academic Scholarships.
