Peter Densem Scholarship Program in New Zealand

The University of Massey in New Zealand is pleased to invite applications for the Peter Densem Scholarship Program. This call in targeted to the citizens of New Zealand who have already completed the first year of a postgraduate program (PhD or Masters) in the discipline of Agriculture or Horticulture.

Scholarship Description
The Peter Densem Postgraduate Scholarship was established in 2017 by Mr Peter Densem for the purpose of supporting students at Massey University who have already completed the first year of a postgraduate programme (PhD or Masters) in the discipline of Agriculture or Horticulture. He wishes to support talented, high achieving students who would otherwise struggle to pay for their study.

Award Value
The Peter Densem Postgraduate Scholarship shall have a value up to $13,000 per annum (depending on available income).

Level and Area of Studies
Postgraduate/PhD Degree program in Agriculture or Horticulture.

Place of Study
The study will be taken in New Zealand.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • Candidates must be enrolled full-time in a PhD or 240-credit Masters program in the field of Agriculture or Horticulture at Massey University and must have completed their first year of the program.
  • The Peter Densem Postgraduate Scholarship will be open to New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.

Applicants’ Nationality
The citizens of New Zealand are invited to apply.

Submission Deadline
10 March every year.
