The National Association of College & University Food Services – NACUFS is pleased to offer the Clark E. DeHaven Scholarships for students who demonstrate a commitment to a food service career who are currently attending college or university or pursuing undergraduate degree in the are that related to food service fields. Please note only U.S. and Canadian citizens are invited to apply.
Scholarship Description
The Clark E. DeHaven Scholarship Trust, established in 1990, honors Clark E. DeHaven, NACUFS’ first executive director. Its purpose is to provide merit scholarships to students at member institutions who are committed to pursuing careers in accredited programs in the foodservice profession or related areas. Since the first scholarship was awarded in 1992, there have been 86 scholarship recipients and a total of $346,500 has been awarded.
Award Value
The trustees of the NACUFS Clark E. DeHaven Scholarship Trust are pleased to announce that up to four – $5,000 scholarships we be awarded to students at NACUFS member schools.
Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate degree in a field of study designed to prepare students for careers in food service, or related areas.
Place of Study
The study will be taken in U.S. or Canada.
Eligibility and Criteria
The Clark E. DeHaven Scholarship is intended to provide financial support to students who demonstrate a commitment to a food service career. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited program that will lead to an undergraduate degree in a field of study designed to prepare students for careers in food service, or related areas. Awards will be made only to applicants enrolled at institutions that are members of the National Association of Colleges & University Food Services.
