Applications for the Humboldt International Research Fellowship Program are being accepted. This program is available for Postdoctoral Researchers and Experienced Researchers from around the world. They must hold doctoral qualification or nearly completing their PhD. The winning fellows will receive a monthly stipend amounting up to €3,170.
Fellowship Description
Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung/Foundation has put forward its Humboldt International Research Fellowship Program for Postdoctoral Researchers. Scientists and scholars of all nationalities and disciplines may apply to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation online at any time. The Humboldt Foundation grants approximately 500 Humboldt Research Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers and experienced researchers annually.
Award Value
Each winner will receive a monthly fellowship of €2,650 for postdoctoral researchers (doctorate completed within the last four years) or €3,170 for experienced researchers (doctorate completed within the last 12 years). Other benefits such as family allowances, travel expenses and others will also be given.

Eligibility and Criteria
- Doctorate or comparable academic degree (Ph.D., C.Sc. or equivalent), completed less than four years before the date of application.
- Scientists and scholars of all nationalities and disciplines may apply to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation online at any time.
- Candidates who have nearly completed their doctoral degrees are eligible to apply provided that they submit the manuscript of their dissertation or publications containing the results of their dissertation, however, at the earliest, six months before the completion of their dissertation.
