Holland Scholarship for Non-EEA Applicants

Applicants for Holland Scholarship are now invited. International students coming from outside European Economic Area (EEA) are welcome to apply. To be eligible, the candidates should be pursuing undergraduate master’s degree at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions. The winners will receive 5000 Euro.

Scholarship Description
The Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as 48 Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. This scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in Holland.

Award Value
Each of the successful applicants will receive €5000. This scholarship will be awarded in the first year of their studies.

Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate and master program in all subjects offered by the host institutions.

Place of Study
At one of participating universities in the Netherlands.

Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible you must meet the criteria as follow:

  • Your nationality is non-EEA.
  • You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s at one of the eligible institutions.
  • You meet the specific requirements of the institution of your choice.
  • You have never before studied at an education institution in the Netherlands.

Applicants’ Nationality
International students from outside EEA countries.

Application Instruction
You can apply for the Holland Scholarship at the Dutch institution of your choice. The institution will select those who will be granted the scholarship. You can find an overview of participating Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences, as well as selected fields of study.

Submission Deadline
1 February and 1 May every year.
