UCL Douglas Johnson Scholarship Programme

The Douglas Johnson Scholarship Programme is now open to UK or EU students who already have an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree within the History Department of University College London (UCL). Selection will be based on students’ financial needs.

Scholarship Description
The purpose of the Douglas Johnson Scholarship Programme is to enable and encourage students in financial need and studying for an undergraduate degree offered by the Department of History of University College London in UK. One award is available for the 2019/20 academic session.

Award Value
The award will be £25,000 per year, based on a three year programme.

Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate degree in history-related fields.

Place of Study
The study will be taken at University College London in UK.

Eligibility and Criteria
Applicants for the Douglas Johnson Scholarship must:

  • hold a UK/EU fee status;
  • hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree within the History Department (including joint honours) for the 2019/20 intake (commencing in September 2019).

Applicants’ Nationality
Only the citizens of UK and EU are invited to apply.

Application Instruction
All applicants must apply the admission to the programme at the Department of History first.

Submission Deadline
5 July 2019.
