PRSA Foundation is now offering Chester Burger Scholarship to students who are being being enrolled in any in a graduate studies degree program in public relations, journalism or related fields. The winners of this scholarship will receive $1,000.
Chester Burger Scholarship was created to encourage graduate public relations students to pursue careers in corporate public relations, with the goal of making the public relations function more essential to the successful achievement of corporate goals consistent with the public interest, the precepts of sound business and the needs of key stakeholders. This scholarship is made possible by the PRSA Foundation; the Arthur W. Page Society; the Institute for Public Relations; and individual donors.
The winners of this scholarship may expect to receive $1,000.

Graduate degree in the field of public relations, journalism or related fields.
Place of Study
The study can be taken at any accredited college and university in USA
Eligibility and Criteria
The applicants should be enrolled or continuing in a graduate studies degree program in public relations, journalism or related fields, effective fall 2016. Candidates must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4. Candidates do not have to be a PRSSA member to apply.
U.S students may apply this scholarship.
The following are the compulsory documents that should be submitted by the candidates:
- A completed application form ( Word or PDF )
- An essay of up to 1,000 words (as explained in the application)
- Letter of recommendation of no more than two pages from a Professional Adviser
- One additional letter of recommendation of no more than two pages
- One-page résumé
All materials (essay, nomination form, résumé and supporting letters) must be submitted as a PDF and sent via email
