The Buildium’s Women in Technology Scholarship is now open. Entries will be accepted through 1 November and 15 April each year. Candidates must be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate degree in STEM – related fields. The winning students will receive $2,500 cash. To apply, applicants are required to provide an essay prompting the topic questions below.

Scholarship Description
Buildium is pleased to announce the Women in Technology Scholarship. The scholarship is intended to encourage the pursuit of education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) field. Each semester one scholarship prize will be given to the Product Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, or Computer Science student who writes the most compelling essay about a topic related to women in technology.

Award Value
Two $2,500 cash scholarships will be awarded. One scholarship will be awarded in the fall, another in the spring.

In the United States of America.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • Female college or university student in good standing and enrolled at an accredited public or private U.S. university.
  • Must be enrolled in a Product Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Engineering, or Computer Science degree program (undergraduate or graduate) — students currently not enrolled or attending are not eligible
  • Student must be at least 18 years of age.
  • One entry per student per semester.

Applicants’ Nationality
The U.S citizens may apply this scholarship.

Application Instruction
In less than 1,000 words, tell us which female leader at a technology company inspires you, and why. She can be a CEO, a product developer, a creative director, an engineer, or anything in between. But she must be a leader in STEM.

Additionally, attach a copy of your unofficial transcript to your email in PDF format to verify your enrollment.
