State University, UNC-Chapel Hill, or UNC-Greensboro. Applications must be received no later than January or October each year.
Scholarship Description
Aubrey Lee Brooks Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. Eligible students must plan to enroll as a full-time student in a degree program at N.C. State University, UNC-Chapel Hill, or UNC-Greensboro.
Award Value
The winning student will receive benefit of $12,000.

Undergraduate degree in any field.
Place of Study
In the United States of America.
Eligibility and Criteria
- Eligible students must reside and attend high school in one of 14 school districts: Alamance, Bertie, Caswell, Durham, Forsyth, Granville, Guilford, Orange, Person, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Swain, or Warren.
- One scholarship will be awarded to a student from the areas of Greensboro and High Point and at the N.C. School of Science and Mathematics.
- Students must have, and maintain, a GPA of 2.75. The value of the scholarship provides for an award of about one-half the cost of an undergraduate education and can be renewed as long as the recipient maintains the required GPA.
