Curtin University in Australia is delighted to offer the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners Scholarship Programme for either current or future students of the university. The award is only open to those enrolled in a university science degree program with the objective of a forensic science career. Both Australian and international students are eligible to apply.
Scholarship Description
The aim of the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners Scholarship is to recognize and encourage outstanding students to pursue studies to prepare them for a career in the forensic science profession, especially in firearm and toolmark identification and closely related areas.
Award Value
Each of the two winners of the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners Scholarship will receive $2,000.00 (USD) scholarship award.
Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate and postgraduate degree majoring in a natural, physical, or biological science.
Place of Study
The study will be taken at Curtin University in Australia.
Eligibility and Criteria
Applicants must be entering their third year or higher of a Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in any year in an advanced degree (MS, PhD, MD, or comparable) program, enrolled as a half-time student or greater, majoring in a natural, physical or biological science, minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 (75%+).
Applicants’ Nationality
There is no nationality restriction.
