Entries for the Alex Ozols Aspiring Lawyer Scholarship Program are accepted every year. The scholarship is open to U.S. or Canadian citizens who are pursuing education in the Unite States. This is an essay based scholarship, so applicants must write an essay responding the given questions.
Scholarship Description
Ozols Law Firm, a criminal defense law firm from San Diego, CA, is offering a scholarship to one law student throughout the United States. Alex Ozols was an attorney that grew up with nothing. He built his law firm and his entire practice with the idea that passion and motivation will get you anywhere you want in life. He believes that hard work pays off and Ozols Law Firm is excited to give back to the community. The scholarship will be based on an essay and can be done on any topic. The range can be from 500-1250 words, anything over 1250 words will not be read.
Award Value
The winning student will be awarded $1000.

College or university level in any field.
Place of Study
The study will be taken in the United States.
Eligibility and Criteria
- Applicant must be a college student in the U.S. (preference will go to law students)
- Applicant must have some sort of financial need or have financial aid obligations
- Must be a full time student (proof of full time status will be required before award is distributed).
- Applicant must be a US or Canadian Citizen.
Applicants’ Nationality
Only the citizens of USA and Canada may apply.
Submission Deadline
1 December every year.
