Al Sanders Award for Music Studies

The College Bound Foundation is accepting applications for the Al Sanders Award. This program is open to those who attended Baltimore City public high school or Baltimore County public high school. Minimum 3.of GPA is required. One winner will be selected to receive the award.

Scholarship Description
This Baltimore Community Foundation scholarship was established to honor the memory of Al Sanders to celebrate his career with WJZ-TV and share his love of music, this scholarship is designated for student graduating from a public high school in Baltimore City or County with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, who intend to major in music and pursue a career in music after graduation from college.

Award Value
The winner of the Al Sanders Award will be granted $3,500.

Level and Area of Studies
College or university level in any musical studies.

Place of Study
The study will be taken in the United States of America.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • Applicant must be majoring in music
  • Applicant must attend a Baltimore City public high school or Baltimore County public high school
  • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Applicants’ Nationality
The citizens of the United States are invited to apply the Al Sanders Award.
