The Voice for Animals Contest is now open. The award is available for any high school student from around the world. The Animal Welfare Institute and the Humane Education Network with additional support from the Palo Alto Humane Society provide up to $5900 for the winning contestants.
Program Description
The Humane Education Network is excited to present its annual “A Voice for Animals Contest” for high school students across the globe. The contest is an exciting opportunity to make a difference for animals and possibly get rewarded in the process. “A Voice for Animals Contest” is supported by a partnership between the Animal Welfare Institute and the Humane Education Network with additional support from the Palo Alto Humane Society.
Award Value
Prizes up to a total of $5900 will be awarded to the winning candidates.

High school level in any field.
Place of Study: Around the world.
Eligibility and Criteria
- This year A Voice for Animals contest has two sections: for 14-15 year old students and 16-18 year old students. The contest is also open to ESL (English as a Second Language) students.
- Participants must currently be attending middle or high school, or be home-schooled and under 19 years of age.
- The contest is open to all otherwise eligible students worldwide regardless of nationality, citizenship or country of residence.

There are no nationality requirements to apply A Voice for Animals Contest.
